Taking People to Jesus

“Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭22‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“They” brought Jesus a demon possessed man.

We are called to be the “they” for today’s sick and afflicted. Generally if we see a demon possessed man, we avoid them for our safety. But you and I are not alone. God is with us. We also have 100s of bored Christians just waiting for an opportunity to serve. Some have waited so long they actually feel comfortable not serving. What if every time we saw a hurting person, a lost person, a sick person … our first thought was, “I need to bring this person to Jesus”. Not to church, although this is one method; but to bring that person to Jesus. How would you do it? It doesn’t hurt to have a plan in mind as long as you’re willing to allow God to direct the process as you go. It may initially be on your heart to invite a person to church, but before the conversation’s over God may have you praying over this person, sharing the gospel of Jesus and maybe even taking them to lunch. Holy Spirit will lead you. That’s one of the exciting parts as you step out.

All your issues, my issues and all the issues we see out there, Jesus is the answer. You may know this. But some don’t. Let’s share the love and truth of Jesus.
