Happy Friday, God is merciful, full of grace and loves us more than we realize. Even though outwardly I acknowledged him, inwardly, for many years, my life declared how much I didn’t care about him. But he didn’t let me go! Some of you share that same story. Some of you are in the middle of living in the muck of neglecting him like I did (and sometimes still do), like me, falling for the trick of making it all about you … and yet his love for you remains.
P.S. Remember, Jesus is the Savior. We are not. So why do we often feel we need to get ourselves right first? If you can get it right without the Savior you would have done it by now, and wouldn’t need Jesus; who by the way already got it right for you when He went to the cross. May you receive him and what he did for you. God does love you.
