You know how people put a metal screen door in front of their front door? And when you go to visit you knock on the screen door but you can tell, they can’t hear you? Both religion and sin does this. It dulls a person’s hearing, spiritually. Some think they’ve known God this whole time, and they’ve checked the box regarding what they believe, and then go on with life. But in love he’s been knocking on their door. Will they hear? This isn’t you, right? If there is a slight or significant unsettling in your heart from day to day, check the door. He’s knocking. The handle’s on the inside.
