I remember a time when we’d faithfully go over the budget on payday week. This is what I must have looked like when it was time to do the budget. Sure, it’s good to be a good steward over our finances. Sure, it does have an impact on helping us be wise in our spending and our saving. But honestly, I dread going over the budget. I’d much rather just live cheap all week, than spend that hour looking at the numbers. Anyone? But honestly, apart from keeping a budget, loose spending has a way of creeping up on you.
