“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 ESV
Don’t hide your faith as an individual or as a church body. We are to be a light shining before others through love and good works, that those who see will glorify who? The Father! To live for anything less, than to shine for our God, is simply bland Christianity. Salt is good!
Do you ever ponder different ways you can be a light and serve God? Pray about it with me.
God help me be a light that shines brightly before others, to your Glory. Help your church become one in mind with this, and shine to the glory of God with love for this city. Show us how we can grow in this. Amen
May we let the truth of God’s word consume us, and his Spirit compel us to walk as a light shining in the darkness with good works, to the glory of God.
