”Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”“
Matthew 16:24-28 ESV
Question: Am I still holding on to my life? Am I living my life the way I myself, my culture or others says it should be lived? Or have I died to self and let my life (the following of my wants, desires, personal expectations, and the world’s expectations) be lost for his sake, that my life may be found in him?
The way I live this life is driven by what I believe. Those who believe will follow, those who don’t will follow another course.
For the one who desires Jesus, may God grant you and I greater faith and belief in Him. Amen

”Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.“ ~ Jesus [John 5:24 ESV]
