When dealing with evil thoughts, addictions, spirits, and its only getting worse…

You may have went through a season of refreshing and things were getting better, but now they are getting worse. You feel hammered by hopelessness. Is this you? Have you considered Jesus as a reality, and not just a man-made idea that might work? Yes, Jesus is a reality. He was sent by God and endured a cross in order to take the payment for our sins. He rose the third day and ascended back to the Father. And he calls all men everywhere to repent and turn to him. He came to save you, and he has the power to drive out that which is tormenting you. Will you turn to him today, in truth?

Jesus once said, “But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” [Matthew 12:28]

Jesus describes what demons will do…

43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.

Receive the Holy Spirit

A person who is battling evil spirits can be “cleaned out” through human effort only to be left in a worse state later. You must be saved, and filled with the Holy Spirit. You cannot do this on your own, you need the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:38 ESV
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13 ESV
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

Luke 11:13 ESV
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

1 Corinth 6:19 reads, “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,”

Reach out to God today through Christ Jesus, call on his name and believe.
